Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to know about hiring through our EOR service in Poland.

What is an Employer of Record (EOR) in Poland?+

An EOR is a third party that legally employs workers on your behalf. We hold the umowa o pracę contract, run payroll, pay ZUS and PIT, and ensure Kodeks pracy compliance — while your team manages the employee's day-to-day work.

Do I need to register a company in Poland?+

No. That's the point. You skip the Sp. z o.o. setup, KRS registration, notary fees and Polish accounting. We are the legal employer of record.

How quickly can you onboard an employee in Poland?+

Typically within 72 hours from receiving the signed offer and documents, subject to ZUS and Urząd Skarbowy registration.

How much does your Poland EOR service cost?+

A flat 1199 zł per employee, per month. No per-payroll fees, no hidden costs. Employer social contributions (around 20% on top of gross salary) are passed through at cost.

What taxes and contributions apply in Poland?+

Employees pay PIT (progressive 12% / 32%) and employee ZUS contributions. Employers pay ZUS contributions (pension, disability, accident, Labour Fund, FGŚP) — typically around 20% of gross salary. We calculate and file everything monthly.

Can you help with work permits for non-EU employees?+

Yes. We handle work permits, residence permits and PESEL registration for non-EU hires in Poland.

What Polish employment laws should I know about?+

The Kodeks pracy governs employment, including notice periods, statutory 20–26 days paid leave, sick pay, and termination rules. RODO (GDPR) governs data. We keep everything compliant.

How does payroll work in Poland?+

Salaries are paid in PLN, monthly, by the 10th of the following month at the latest. PIT is remitted to the tax office, ZUS is remitted to social security — all handled by us.

Can I convert an EOR employee to my own Polish entity later?+

Yes. When you're ready to set up your own Sp. z o.o., we help transfer employment seamlessly with continuity of service.
